Our 2017 VRWC Falls Creek racewalk training camp is done and dusted! It was our seventh annual camp and a lot of our top underage walkers from across Australia joined us at Falls. The camp ran for 2 weeks, from Friday 30th December 2016 to Thursday 12th January 2017. These dates ensured that we finished one day before the Athletics Australia U19 camp which commenced on Friday 13th January. Read all about it in our camp report

Some info on camp costs. The cost of $65 per day breaks down as follows: $45 for accommodation, $10 for catering/food and $10 for all other camp costs (transport, bus hire, etc, etc). It's a tight budget and we can't afford any empty beds. Hence this year walkers could attend either Week 1 or Week 2 or the entire camp. It is not normally possible to come to our camps for partial periods. The camp cost is premised on having all beds full every night. An empty bed must still be paid for.
